From the teachers who pour their hearts into lesson planning and fostering a love for learning, to the support staff who ensure the smooth operation of our school, keep our students safe, and build relationships, every member of the Hope School team plays a vital role in shaping the future of our students

ELPAC Testing- Next Week

This week, our TK-2nd grade students will be participating in the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) test. This assessment is designed to measure English proficiency for students who are learning the language

SBAC Math and ELA Testing - Week of May 13

Our students in grades 3rd through 6th will be participating in the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) tests as part of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) program
Testing Schedule: The testing will take place during the weeks of May 13th through June 2nd. Please note that each grade level will have slightly different testing days, which will be communicated to you by your student's teacher. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding in accommodating these schedules
**Purpose: **The SBAC tests in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) are designed to measure students' understanding of the California academic standards and provide valuable insights into their academic progress
Preparation: While there's no need for specific test preparation, ensuring your child gets plenty of rest, eats a nutritious breakfast, and arrives at school on time during the testing days can help them perform their best
Support: Please encourage your child to do their best on the tests. Reassure them that it's okay if some questions are challenging, and remind them to take their time and read each question carefully
